EuroMed-2030: A forward look on the long-term challenges for the Mediterranean area

This conference is aimed at analysing the main trends, tensions and possible transitions in the EuroMed region up to 2030. It builds on the work performed by the EuroMed-2030 Expert Group established by the European Commission under the Foresight activity of the Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities theme of the 7th Research Framework Programme.

This conference will take place on 16 December 2010 in Brussels, rue de la Loi 170, Charlemagne building, room Sicco Mansholt.

Please find attached the draft programme. A large place will be given to the discussion between speakers and stakeholders. Th

ere will be interpretation in French and English.

If you would like to register, please send an e-mail before 30 November 2010 to Spela.Majcen@ec.europa.eu indicating your name, surname and organisation. The European Commission will make a selection of participants in order to ensure a good balance of nationalities, stakeholders and disciplines. A confirmation email will be sent to the selected participants on 1st December 2010.
