The European Techno-Economic Policy Support Network (ETEPS) organizes an interactive research meeting for young researchers and/or PhD students in the field of policy and prospective studies, giving rise to new dialogues and exchanges of knowledge and experience. The event is organized primarily for representatives of organizations within the ETEPS network; the meeting is however open to other applicants.
The key topic to be addressed at the meeting is the issue of insufficient utilization of foresight within the policy-making processes. The aim of the meeting is thus to discuss the benefits and limitations of foresight in policy-making in various national contexts and to explore possibilities for its higher involvement within the policy-making processes.
